WHO IS CHELSEA?
Licensed Esthetician, Vegan & Vegetarian Nutritionist and Mental Health Expert
My name is Chelsea Krieger, or DearGreenQueen online, and am a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, specializing in body waxing. With a passion for perfection and a keen eye for detail, I have honed my skills to become a sought-after expert in the art of waxing.
Over the course of their career,I have traveled extensively to various cities, providing exceptional waxing services and sharing my expertise through training sessions. My dedication to staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and industry trends has helped me earn a reputation for delivering superior results and ensuring client satisfaction and has even gotten me opportunities to work at the Oscars explaining my processes at the gifting lounge to celebrities and magazines. Not only that, it has allowed me to come back to my home state, Washington, and open a brand new salon on Capitol Hill, with the franchise I was working with in the Bay Area.
Opening this salon 4 weeks before the pandemic definitely taught me a lot of business lessons! After closing down this salon for 4 months and reopening and rebuilding the branding in the area was what really taught me my ability to build a brand in under a year. Being recognized and awarded multiple times that year as a top-selling salon, within its first year of opening in a state that had never heard of the salon, brought me so much joy and allowed me to create community in a place I hadn’t been in a long time. Being able to create a safe place, for all genders helped me completely change the brand of the company nation-wide. After noticing the lack of knowledge in many of the wax experts during our manager calls, showed me that I needed to recreate our entire database on how to handle people of all different backgrounds. Sharing my knowledge in how to handle moments and conversations about politics, race, gender, and more allowed me to help make the entire company more accepting.
Beyond my expertise in waxing, I have also made significant contributions to the community through their involvement in crisis counseling and mental health events. Recognizing the importance of mental well-being, I have actively participated in initiatives aimed at fostering growth and awareness in this area. By leveraging my knowledge and experience, I have been instrumental in identifying opportunities for community development in the realm of mental health.
Combining my beauty industry expertise with a genuine commitment to mental health advocacy, I aspire to create a positive impact on both an individual and community level. Through my waxing services, I strive to enhance my clients' confidence and self-esteem, while also contributing to the overall well-being of the community, by keeping mental health referrals and resources at hand within the salon, as well as interactive art in the space that will allow it to be a safe haven.
